Training Director

duMonde is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Training practitioner with Defence sector knowledge and experience to drive the delivery and ongoing management of duMonde’s national Defence sector training business through the development of current and future customer relationships and key stakeholder engagement activities.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  •   Professional delivery of duMonde’s unique suite of face-to-face and E-learning courses
  •   New course content development as well as the continuous improvement of existing duMonde training course content
  •   Client relationship/ key stakeholder management activities and reporting to ensure ongoing training business development
  •   Maintenance of customer satisfaction and promotion of wider duMonde training capabilities and offerings to maximise the growth of duMonde’s training-related business development pipeline

The Successful Applicant

You will be a highly experienced, motivated and driven professional with:

  •   A tertiary qualification in education, business/management and/or learning development (or a related field) plus relevant on the job experience delivering face-to-face professional development training
  •   A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher is essential
  •   Highly developed communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to produce high quality written content
  •   Excellent computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of the MS Office Products
  •   High attention to detail with an ability to adopt current IP, adapt for relevant requirement and deploy on-time and to an exceptional level of quality
  •   Knowledge of Defence Industry, preferably with at least 5 years of experience working in or closely with a Defence Prime contractor
  •   Able to think laterally and drive improvements across the training delivery environment
  •   The ability to foster and develop relationships across a variety of national stakeholders
  •   Strong team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  •   Must be eligible for and ideally have (or previously held) an AGSVA Security Clearance
  •   Must be eligible to work in Australia
